ALS Outpatient Clinic at Erlangen University Hospital. Head: PD Dr. med. Martin Regensburger. Comprehensive multi-professional care for ALS, primary lateral sclerosis (PLS), progressive muscular atrophy (PMA), progressive bulbar paralysis (PBA), and spinobulbar muscular atrophy (Kennedy disease). Services include electrophysiology, CSF analysis, imaging, respiratory diagnostics, swallowing diagnostics, nutritional counselling, genetic diagnostics and counselling. Patient-specific in vitro models for HSP and ALS characterized in Stem Cell Biology Department (Head: Prof. Dr. Beate Winner).
